Lori L. Holt is a Professor of Psychology at Carnegie Mellon University and is affiliated with Pittsburgh’s Center for the Neural Basis of Cognition. Dr. Holt is the recipient of a 21st Century Scientist Award for Mind, Brain and Behavior from the James S. McDonnell Foundation and her research has been recognized by awards from her peers at the Acoustical Society of America, the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association and the National Organization for Hearing Research

Dr Frederic Dick is Reader in Cognitive Neuroscience (Associate Professor) at Birkbeck, University of London.From 2006-07 he was acting director of the Birkbeck/UCL Centre for NeuroImaging (BUCNI) and since 2007 has been associate director of BUCNI. Dick’s research in auditory cognitive neuroscience is on characterising the cognitive and neural mechanisms underlying processing of naturally occurring linguistic and non-linguistic sounds.
